I Found The “electronic Cigarette” Online. Is It Worth The Money?

And does it even have the same effect as a regular cigarette?

  1. I have one and I love it. It is different than a regular cigarette, but gives you a very similar sensation as a tobacco cigarette. You still participate in the action of smoking.
Six months ago, I went from a pack a day to 4-6 smokes per day and using the e-cig. About a month ago, I stopped smoking tobacco cigs all together and smoke my e-cig about the equivalent of 6-8 cigarettes a day. I did cheat a week ago and had a tobacco cig and ended up laying on the floor with hot flashes and dizziness. I don’ t think I will try that again. (I had one because I figured… what the heck. I have been good. Let’s have one. Nope. Never again.)
Here is what happens: The e-cig is made up of three parts: The battery, the atomizer and the nicotine cartridge. When the user takes a drag, the battery, charges the atomizer which heats up the nicotine solution creating a vapor. This vapor can be inhaled and then exhaled, just like a tobacco cigarette. There is no tobacco so nothing burns, meaning there is no second hand smoke.
I personally, will never go back to tobacco. I have “quit” 5 times and after all of those attempts decided that I would probably die a smoker. Then this came along. I can continue to be a smoker with what I perceive as a better smoking device. I still get my nicotine, but all of the proven things to be wrong with tobacco are gone. Which leads to is the e-cig safe?
Well the jury is still out on this one. However, there have been three separate tests done on different types of the nicotine solution and all were found to be safe. These tests were done on mice. There has also been one clinical trial on humans and we are awaiting the results. I also compared what we assume to be in tobacco cigarettes vs what we assume to be in the nicotine solution and for me, it was clear that even though these are untested, the fact there are 10 ingredients vs 4000, well, that helped me.
You have to decide for yourself, but many have noticed that by switching, they have better lung capacity, smokers coughs disappear and overall feeling is much better.
As far as your question “Is it worth the money?” With everything that you will need to buy, cartridges, replacement batteries and atomizers (eventually) and the initial unit, you will save a minimum of 40% over the course of year as compared to tobacco cigarettes. And that is minimum. Once you get going, you can start filling your own cartridges by buying e-liquid and saving even more. So yes. It is definitely worth the money. I haven’t bought a pack of cigarettes in over a month. I smoked a pack a day. I use one bottle of e-liquid a month. My e-liquid is $29.95 for one month. My smokes were $126 per month.

  2. Yes it is! It doesn’t have all the gunk and tar that makes you have lung cancer. My dad sells it. And he showwed me how it works.

  3. I don’t know but it sounds cool.
But did you notice it still has nicotine in it.
