  1. I’ve been using E-cigarettes for over a month now and it’s unbelievable.I used to smoke regular tobacco cigarettes and I can’t believe the difference. I finally can take a deep breath, I don’t have the horrible smell following me everywhere I go, and I have more energy then ever before (well before I started smoking ;) It has to be safer than regular cigarettes, I don’t believe it could be worse.
As for your high blood pressure being affected, I doubt that it could be worse than what you’re already smoking.
Another benefit is the taste. The brand that I get has an amazing taste that just drives me nuts just thinking about it. It is soooo tasty, indescribable mmmmm. http://ecigarets.com

  2. Electronic cigarettes are marketed as a healthier alternative to tobacco smoking, since most of the harmful material produced by the combustion of tobacco in traditional cigarettes is not present in the atomised liquid of electronic cigarettes. They have also been marketed as a way to keep or curtail an addiction to nicotine.
Toxicological studies of the electronic cigarettes have been conducted, with some reporting that electronic cigarettes are less harmful than traditional tobacco cigarettes. In September 2008, the World Health Organization issued a release proclaiming that it does not consider the electronic cigarette to be a legitimate smoking cessation aid, stating that to its knowledge, “no rigorous, peer-reviewed studies have been conducted showing that the electronic cigarette is a safe and effective nicotine replacement therapy.”
On March 27, 2009, Health Canada issued an advisory against electronic cigarettes. The advisory stated “Although these electronic smoking products may be marketed as a safer alternative to conventional tobacco products and, in some cases, as an aid to quitting smoking, electronic smoking products may pose risks such as nicotine poisoning and addiction.”
IMHO, from the articles I’ve read the e-cigarette affects blood pressure the same as a real cigarette when you get the same amount of nicotene. . But I’d like to try them anyway because I have normal blood pressure. : (

  3. it isn’t the nico in cigarettes that causes hbp; it’s the act of inhaling any smoke which causes your blood vessels to constrict, leading to hypertension.

  4. So the question remains, does smoking E-cigs affect blood pressure??
