I hope to God they do not get banned and the only way they will be is if the tobacco industry and the pharmaceutical industry decide that their loss of profits is just too much for them bear. As we all know, the tobacco and pharm industries live off of profit and have very little to do with health.
I went from a pack a day smoker to 2-4 a day and now, I am proud to say that I am free of the tobacco cigarettes. I have quit with every single method you could imagine and nothing took care of the addiction to the action of smoking.

no faith they shouldn’t…hee hee i just bought one, though never used it as have stopped smoking AGAIN, they are not illegal , and i bought them for the sole purpose of getting nicotine without the use of the rest of the chemicals, which contrary to belief dont bother most smokers, ive even lived and smoked over thirty years pretending to myself that everyone is lying about the dangers of smoking.. but on another note why is anyone worried about the so called dangers when surly we are killing ourselves by the thousands each year from the real thing..they are just another form of nrt , i personally find its all just a money making machine and cold turkey is the way to go, but hey im sure half of the world wont agree..x

Doesn’t appear that they serve any useful purpose. Plus, being made in China is a good enough reason to avoid them. It does show also that, in the highly unlikely event of cigarette production ceasing across the Western world, there will always be something new to replicate them.

Now that’s stuipid. Normal cigaretes are’nt illegal, so why make these? Besides, they contain no tar, so are surely healthier?

I have heard of these but never seen them. I think they are ridiculous. They are part of the back lash to the smoking ban. A lot of people seem to think the smoking ban is made to inconvenience smokers when it is actually for the health of the staff that work in what used to be smoking establishments.
Anyway i am veering off the point here, I cannot believe that people would use something that has not been really that well tested. I doubt they would ban it in Australia without good reason. Governments make a mint off tobacco and tobacco related products, due to the heavy taxing etc
I gave up smoking a few years ago (simply through willpower alone) and even if I still smoked I would not even think of using one of these.
