   I ordered mine on the 19th of june, so i got a couple of days til the “2 weeks” is up. im in the same boat as you though, ive been excited to get it since the day i ordered it. my friend got his in, he said it was about 2-3 weeks.

   I am waiting for mine as well which I ordered on June 15th. I am expecting it any day.
   The statement
   “they’ve been back ordered since January of 2009 and no one has gotten an order since”
   seems to be “propaganda” from the competition. When I saw your question I emailed blucigs and they told me that they have only been around and selling since May 2009 …

   I had ordered a Blu on June 8, 2009 and had waited the 2 weeks that the said and then some with no result. I finally canceled my order yesterday. I hope this is helpful. Everyone that I hear that has one really likes it, but since it take so long you may want to consider buying another kit in the meantime.

   Hey, I ordered my Blu Cigs on June 10th and they finally shipped on July 1st. It was kind of annoying, but from everything I’ve read, Blu is the best out there… so it should be worth the wait. I’ve only heard good things, so I’m excited. I just hope that there isn’t a wait on refill cartridges. I have a feeling it might just be the starter kits. If they’re on backorder, that probably means that they’re selling faster than they can make them… but surely they’d want to get your refill cartridges to you quick to keep you buying them.

   They have only been around since May so the only reason why anyone would say that is to get you to buy from someone else. I ordered mine and they said it was back ordered and it would take 3 weeks and it took 23 days. So if they say 2 weeks, I would say it will be 2 weeks or a bit more. It’s worth the wait.

   Nice try Healthe Cig, I tried your product along with NJOY and Smoking Anywhere and blu. Blu was by far the most advanced and actually was cool. Yes it took me awhile but there is a reason they are in so much demand!

   OMG – i’ve never heard of anyone having to wait that long to receive their electronic cigarettes kit. However, the FDA has started to ban importing of electronic cigarettes from specific manufacturers. I think maybe – the long wait is due to being held up at the US Customs.

    Blu Electronic Cigarettes

    I love this technology! I have used all the other methods to either quit smoking or as an alternative. This e-cig has been the best. I have yet to feel the side effects like I did with the patch, gum and lozenges (overly nervous, shaking, etc). Let alone using the pills as an aid (I felt like a wind up toy that had overly wind up)! And those effects were felt almost immediately!!! And those things were approved by the FDA!!! I hated those side effects that it was easier to cut down on normal cigs and continue to smoke them than to experience those bad side effects. I know not everyone has the same side effects, and some don’t have them at all, but I did, and did not enjoy them.

    The only side effect I have experienced, is the coughing up of old tar and junk from my lungs. This is what happens when you quit or go without a smoke for a few days while using something like the patch, gum, lozenges… The body starts to repair itself. And since smoking dries out the lungs and vocal chords…This e-cig which is a vaporizer is rehydrating and making my cough productive so I get rid of the crap quicker. Anyone who has gone without a smoke for a period of time knows the cough I am speaking about. And no it is not constant like a smokers cough. And for those that may want to argue, you just don’t know, you have never experienced quiting smoking like I have, and no this isn’t a side effect from the e-cig! If it was I’d cough everytime I use it, and frankly, I puff on the e-cig a lot less than I did a real cig. I guess because I know how long it took me to get it and how long it would take to get more cartridges. I have only used one and a half of the cartridges since friday.

    On being harmful to others… Here’s a kicker. I babysit for a 10 y/o boy who has severe asthma and autism. His mom knew I wanted to quit using cigs and get something better so I wouldn’t trigger an asthma attack. If I had a cig I would rush outside and watch this boy through a window while he played a video game. I’ve watched him for two years and knew once he started a game he was there for hours. Okay back to the e-cig…

    Yesterday with his mom next to me, I used my e-cig right in front of this boy. He said the samething his mom had said, “No smell.” And the best part, normal smoking almost always triggers and attack. This e-cig did not! Will I use it like that in front of him again? No way.

    I recommend this for any smoker who works in the medical field since there is no off gasing! I recommend this for any smoker who has a stressfull job in which they just can’t take a break and walk away. I recommommend this for any smoker who does a lot of traveling.

    When it comes to trvaleing, I use a restroom and have a few puffs. Just because it is safe does not mean I should just use it where ever and whenever. I use total discretion on planes and trains. I don’t like to draw attention to myself. Now if this becomes widely used like a common cig and people use them everywhere, then I will. Thank you blu for the best e-cig! This the greatest alternative!

    I cancelled my order today after waiting nearly 4 weeks and no reponse from emails to customer service. I ended up getting a Njoy starter kit at a local gas station instead. Tired of waiting, while the price of cigs in Florida went up a buck a pack this week.

    i ordered my blus about a week ago and got them today . i smoke a pack a day give or take a few and since i put it together ive only had two and that was between 9 hours there amazing and well worth any wait people have been having
