it is used in Prestone Low Tox Antifreeze. I’m not trying to be the bad guy here. I so want these things to be what they claim, but until they (not the PG- since we are talking about a different delivery system here) are studied long term . There’s no way to say that they are absolutely harmless. I’m a real smoker looking to kick the habit. My sister told me about these and I so want to join the club. So please don’t think I’m trying to sink the boat and buzzkill the good vibes.

To learn more about the FDA report have a look on my website or check out some of the Electronic Cigarette forums. Also i would like to point out that e-cigs have been passed by the New Zealand Goverment after extensive tests were done on the Nicotiene carts. Also i would like to point out that Trading Standards have tested MY NIC carts in a Lab in Edinburgh and approved them for sale. The full page can be viewed on my BEBO Page.

Propylene Glycol IS NOT Anti Freeze.I was going to deleat this post but decided to leave it,in hope that mabey people would do their home work before posting. The FDA tested a load of nic carts and found only 1 (from China) had a small percent of Anti Freeze in it.The Anti Freeze is not added to the carts.Anti Freeze was used by the company in China as part of a way to extract the nicotiene from the tabaco.Their was only 1% AF found in 1 cart.AF has NOTHING to do with VAPOUR

Propylene Glycol/Anti Freeze is what makes the vapor in these E-Smokes. PG will break potein down at a celluar level. That’s what your skin & your lungs are made of. Lowlevel exposure to it is safe, but long term Highlevel exposure is deadly. PG also destroys the fine filters in your kidneys. The FDA needs to bring this to light, & do all the tests need to prove they are safe, They take forever to do that unfortunately, I want to stop tobacco. I’d jump in on this so quick if it was proven safe.

I’ll be brief. I have smoked cigarettes for more than sixty years. After two days puffing electronic cigarettes with no effort at all I simply stopped smoking regular cigarettes and haven’t had more than three in the past four weeks. The e-cigarette satisfied all of a smoker’s needs (unless it makes the smoker feel like the Marlboro Man or that sort of neurotic need.
I’ve tried about twelve “different” brands and have settled on “Green” as the best money can buy and the most convenient to use with the best vapor if you remember to change cartridges and re-charge battery often.
I have never come in with 50% of the alleged design parameters of any brand of e-cigarette so I simply double their estimates. Examples:Instead of $1 per cartridge I automatically calculate $2. If a company says a cartridge is good for the equivalent of one package of cigarettes I mentally calculate that as less than half a pack.
E-cigarettes are undoubtedly the best and healthiest technological improvement in my life as a pack a day smoker. But the industry needs to standardize the range of cartridges, batteries and screw threads so a person can easily and cost effectively switch brands with a minimum of fuss. That’s a consumer need; obviously not so good for the competitors selling them. On the other hand, sales might dramatically increase if there was more interchangeability of parts and less consumer confusion.
