What Kind Of Electronic Cigarette Should I Buy?
September 2nd, 2009 • Related • Filed Under
I know people say “choose what’s right for you based on preference”
but I’m not picky. I just want something with inexpensive and readily available refill cartridges. I’ve also heard the recommendation of using the liquid refill to refill my own…
I’m eager to hear any suggestions you my have based on personal experience or knowledge.

Well, I use the VX2 (aka J118) which I love and I got it here: http://litecigusa.net/main.sc;jsessionid…
Shawn has other models on his site too. (no, I’m not affiliated with this vendor at all, but he’s great to purchase from. Very good customer service)
I also have a SmokingEverywhere Gold which I really don’t like and was not cheap. But it was my first one.
The most popular e-cigs seem to be the DSE901 and the Joye 510 due to price, availability of parts and performance
But seriously, you need to do at least a little research on these because what I like maybe you will hate. All it takes is a little time to read over some reviews. I’ll even give you a couple of links to some forums to get you started. At least you’ll know its pretty much unbiased and not being promoted by a salesman because your question is spam heaven LOLhttp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e… or http://vapersforum.com/forumdisplay.php?…
Good Luck! =)

I would recomend the DSE-801 or the Joye-510. A good place to buy them is at awesomevapor.com. Arno is the owner and is fantastic with his customer service. the starter kits are around $45.00 If you want info on other products visit my website at http://www.technosmoke.webs.com

Hello,
the most inexpensive ecigs are probably Blu and Luci. Blu is small and light and should be available for order again in August.
I have not tried Luci.
Both offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
You should still determine which features are right for you. This simple buying guide will help you:

The consensus from those I’ve talked to is that the Joye 510 (all 510 models are about the same, but joye is the most well known) is the best. (I have a 510 and love it) You want one with a manual battery, that means you push a button which saves your battery and means you don’t have to puff twice – once to get the atomizer hot and one for your puff.
As far as cartridges, you want blank (empty) carts and liquid to fill them. The prefilled carts claim to provide 3/4-1 1/2 packs of cigarettes worth, but after the first 3 cigs worth the quality and amount of vapor diminishes. With liquid, you can top off. When I started I didn’t want the hassle, but it’s easy, cheaper, and worth it.
You may want to consider a US manufacturer with what the FDA is saying, but remember that only some chinese manufacturers used bad ingredients. Also, recognize media hype for what it is. While some companies have been caught using “dangerous” ingredients found in antifreeze, some don’t. the main ingredient is also found in antifreeze but approved by the FDA as safe for human consumption. You eat it in your daily diet. Johnson Creek makes their liquid in the US and lists their ingredients on their website. I have ordered from other companies and am still waiting on my first Johnson creek order, so I can’t vouch for them except to say their shipping is slow.
Anyway, a lot of what I learned about e-cigs was from http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com
The people there know what they are talking about and are friendly and helpful. check out the new members area.
Lastly, don’t fall for hype from companies like Blu and Smoking Everywhere. Blu’s quality is crap, and Smoking Everywhere costs more than double what most companies cost. If you order an e-cig I recommend http://www.e-smokeytreats.com
I ordered on a wednesday afternoon and had my 510 the next day. The shipping was under 10$ and nothing special like 3-day.
good luck
I don’t think I spent more than 60$ total on my starter kit (including shipping ). Also, you can get discount codes at the forum.
