Where Can I Find Information On Opening A Discount Tobacco Store?
September 5th, 2009 • Related • Filed Under
I would like to open a brick and mortar discount tobacco store, but need to know where to get cheap cigarettes, display racks and shelves, groceries, everything I would need to get it up and going. A one stop resource that can deliver all I need.

For vendors, ask a bartender.
Or contact the office of Tobacco and Firearms in your state, they can refer you to licensed distributors and give info on your own licensing.
For equipment, look for a store that closed, then reopen it or move the equipment to a “better” location. Keep an eye out for business closing/liquidation type auctions.
Your distributors can probably help with equipment/shelving too.
For related suppliers, just ask someone outside your market where they get their stuff.
Aside from local distributors, you can do a lot of your sourcing on the internet too.

Get one of those Cigar Store Indians for the front.
Hire a tobacconist !

GO TO PLACES NEAR YOU AND SEE WHO THEY BUY FROM . hAVING 1 SUPPLIER IS NOT A GOOD IDEA EITHER . WITH SEVERAL YOU GET TO SHOP DEALS , SEE HOW PRICES COMPARE , AND ALSO ARE MADE AWARE OF THE BUSINESS CLIMATE TOO . i HAVE LIKE 9 VENDORS THAT CALL ON MY STORES .
