E-Cigs are 1000x safer than analog cigarettes. The FDA and the federal government don’t make money off of E-Cigs, which is why they’re making a big deal about it. More people smoking e-cigs = less people smoking analog cigs = less money for the government. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out wtf is going on here.

Don’t pay attention to health class do ya? Whatever, If I were you I would switch to these because these electronic cigarettes aren’t as dangerous as real cigarettes.

#2. to whitelotus, I do have my facts straight and I am calm. And no, I do not work for the FDA (nor the tobacco industry) – I have little respect for either. I picked Smoke Stik because it is made in the U.S. and I know that the FDA is cracking down on imports of these products. As for non-smoker use – what makes you think that teens (or others)can’t easily get these to get a rush? I do not think you or I will come to an agreement over this, so perhaps we should just agree to disagree.

then why not just get cigarettes? if y someone wants a rush, then itll be cheaper to buy a pack of smokes for 9 dollars than to get a 30-120 dollar e cigarette just for “a rush”? no logic behind that thought. and i agree about disagreeing also. I am still not convinced as to how you have your facts correct or whether or not your misconstruing them with opinions ,and neither would any other logical person out there who knows about e cigarettes or not. Im tired of debating so no more messages ok

#1 to whitelotus – From Web MD:”Before using this medication (nicotine replacements) tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: blood vessel disease , breathing problems, diabetes, heart disease high blood pressure, liver disease, severe kidney disease, stomach/intestinal sores, certain adrenal problem, overactive thyroid. Nicotine and smoking may harm an unborn baby. If you are pregnant, try to stop smoking without using a nicotine replacement product …”

this is just a waring before using theis product. it does not mean it is detreimental or cancerous to the people who can use this product without these health problems in the first place. Its just warning for nicotine. whats cancerous about that?and to have a cesssation of smoking, one must have a nicotine intake first, like all products used to quit smoking.

AS for the derogatory language, i do apologize because its just not needed. people do get angry when someone makes a false accusation against something they believe in and try to market it as a fake while simultaniously giving it a bad name and rep. thats something I dont stand for. thats no justification as to why someone cant be professional about something. I respect your calm attitude, but please get your facts straight.

I just started using an “E-cigarette” three days ago. I am a 58 year old, 5-7 smokes a day, male who knows better. I have tried unsuccessfully for years to quit. Anyhow, here’s my take. At first I was very impressed – the nicotine level is acceptable, the “glycerin” smoke gives one the feeling of smoking (including drawing smoke through through the nose and exhaling), and it gives one the feel of holding a smoke. Very impressive first three hour impression. Now the bad part. E-cigs are much heavier, “smoke” lasts for about 1 hour if lucky, nicotine levels per draw drop quickly, they draw much harder than a regular smoke, and open cartridges last 24 hours max. If this is a first generation product, it may morph into a very successful product. If this is the final product, it will fail. Worth the price as a novelty item, but it won’t (currently) replace cigarettes.
