   I have only recently found out about the E-Cigs and i love the idea of them as a substitute for the real thing. Thank you for this review. I really like the look of this model. Just one thing i went to the site and in the discription they still say it has a 2 min shut down. Pherhaps they have,nt updated there site yet. Thanks again for your review.

   And my other question is, when I’m driving i tend to keep the cigarett in my mouth for periods of time, so will the cartridge fall of easily or is it nice and sturdy?

    Well, been three, nearly four, days since I received this, and I’m converted. This model is amazingly good, the supplied high-strength menthol carts were bonza, as the ozzies would say. I am going to order the box sext with case, and some of their e-liquid, and stick with these things.
    My brother now lets me smoke indoors too, Bonus!

    I did a little mini review of TW’s Minty Choc Chip.. basically it tastes like a mint candy cane that you get at Christmas. So it’s a sweet minty flavour rather than just a pure mint. Very nice!

    hi mate,

    the mirage doesa pretty good job of replicating a cigarette. you may find that it needs a day or 2 of good use before it reaches peak performance as sometimes the atomiser needs to be broken in.
    mirage do a pretty nice menthol e-liquid which you can refill the carts with………but for a really nice strong menthol then try the menthol or minty choc chip from totally wicked.

    I’ve ordered the trial model, USB, single unit, with five menthol cartridges following this review, as I want to switch from tobacco to a more healthy alternative (if this would be considered healthy).

    My question though is simple: Of all the e-cigs you’ve tried, which one would you say is most like smoking a normal cigarette, I’m a menthol smoker, so which is most like a menthol cig. (For comparison, I smoke Superkings Menthol, has a nice throaty menthol kick which i’d like to replicate)

    sadly not……….the carts hold the liquid which gets vaporised so without them you wont get any vapour.

    you can buy zero nicotine carts though if you want to cut out the nicotine.

    the mirage is a model M401 and any other e-cig that is the same model will have compaible carts. check out the EVO from intellicig com or the Pilot from e-cigs co uk as they have compatible carts.

    im not 100% sure on how the mg strengths relate to the mg in a box of cigarettes to be honest.
    but i find from my experience that the 18 or 24 mg strength satisfies my nicotine fix in the same way that a benson and hedges cigarette would.

    Hi Scott thanks for your review it was just what I was looking for. I notice the nicotine is in mg which doesnt equate to the mg of a cigarette – do you happen to know what the levels relate to as far as cigs are concerned?
