Canada has banned the sale, not use. They say it is because of health risks… I believe the real issue is that our tobacco laws don’t allow them to tax nicotine products, just tobacco
Comment by empirescrumble on 22 April 2010:
Not in America, it doesn’t. Nor in Canada if I’m not mistaken. Anyone?
Comment by empirescrumble on 22 April 2010:
Certification by who? These don’t fall under the jurisdiction of the FDA. Neither do regular cigarettes, the primary nicotine delivery device, which is all an electronic cigarette is: a device that delivers nicotine to the user. They only need a certification if they’re making a claim that e-cigs can be used as a smoking cessation program, which NO retailer is.

..but its a new item and need certification..
Comment by atpmw on 22 April 2010:
u think because is not a drug , they dont need a certification??
Comment by empirescrumble on 23 April 2010:
Electronic cigarettes don’t need “certification”. They don’t fall under the jurisdiction of the FDA because they are not new drugs, they are medical devices that provide existing drugs. Do your homework, man…
